How credits work

Credits measure build work, not messages. What a turn costs, what your free grant buys, and how topping up works.

A credit is a unit of work

Credits are not messages. One build turn — Sneh reading your request, changing files, running its checks and reporting back — typically uses between 5 and 30 credits. A small copy change sits at the bottom of that range; a new feature across several screens sits at the top.

You start with 150 credits free when you sign up, with no card required. That is enough to plan, build, check and deploy a real first app rather than a demo that stops at the interesting part.

What changes the cost of a turn

  • The model you pick — lower-cost models use fewer credits per turn.
  • How much work the turn actually involves, not how long your message is.
  • Whether Sneh has to re-read a lot of your project to answer.

Asking a question about your app costs far less than asking for a feature. You are charged for what the turn does, so short exploratory questions stay cheap.

Topping up

When you need more, 500 credits cost $25 — that is $0.05 per credit. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and credits do not reset monthly. What you have stays until you use it.

Your first top-up also unlocks the higher-cost models, which are held back so that a free grant is not spent in two turns before you have decided Sneh is worth paying for.
